The Puddingify Royalties Engine — a tamper-proof, automatic payment system built for the music industry.
The financial brain of the Puddingify Creators Network™. It automatically calculates how much each person or entity connected to a musical works should be paid — then sends those payments directly to their digital wallets — no middlemen, no spreadsheets, no delays.
Think of it as a highly intelligent, tamper-proof accounting system that lives on the blockchain. Every calculation, every payment, every decision is permanently recorded and visible to the parties involved. Nobody can change the numbers after the fact — the math is locked in and verifiable by anyone with permission.
Every song contains two separate copyrights — the composition (publishing) and the sound recording (master). Puddingify handles both automatically and simultaneously.
Different ways a song earns money are tracked individually on the blockchain. Creators and rights organisations can see exactly which revenue sources are performing — and calculations can treat each type differently.
Triggers simultaneous Performance & Mechanical payouts
Royalties when a song is performed live
Revenue from TV or radio transmission
Use of a composition in visual media (requires Sync and Master licenses)
Reproduction of the composition
Revenue from paid digital downloads
Before a single cent reaches a rights holder's wallet, the engine applies a series of financial rules — in the correct order. Reserves are set aside, recoupment obligations honoured, and only eligible amounts paid out.
All income from streaming, sync, performance, etc. arrives as a total pool for the period.
A configured percentage is held back as a reserve fund — protecting against chargebacks, disputes, or future adjustments. Set per-song by the rights administrator.
If advances or costs need to be recouped, those amounts are deducted next. You choose whether recoupment applies to all payouts, or just the artist's share, or only one side (master or publishing).
Traditional banks can't process $0.03, but we can. While you can set a custom threshold to bundle payments, our Solana-based rails allow for micro-payouts as low as $0.01. You decide when your money moves.
Remaining amounts are sent directly to each rights holder's Solana wallet in USDC — settled on-chain in minutes, not months.
Different types of income don't always split the same way. The Routing Matrix lets rights administrators define — for each revenue type — exactly which sections of the rights structure receive those funds.
Who wrote the song? Songwriters and co-writers receive their share of publishing income based on their registered ownership split.
Who owns the master recording? Artists, labels, and producers get their cut of master income from streaming, downloads, and broadcast.
Third parties with a commercial stake — distributors, investors, or equity partners — who participate in revenue above or below the waterfall.
The financial rules for this specific work: reserve percentage, recoupment balance, minimum payout threshold, and recoupment priority order.
Puddingify manages the entire lifecycle of every payment — from creation to confirmation on the Solana blockchain.
Payments go straight to each recipient's Solana wallet in USDC — no bank accounts, no wires, no waiting weeks.
"You got paid!" — the platform sends a notification to each rights holder's registered email the moment a payment is confirmed.
If a payment fails, the platform records exactly why and when — and can retry automatically. Every attempt is logged.
Every payment is tagged with the ISRC (unique song identifier), the royalty period, and the PRO that processed it.
The engine cryptographically links ISRCs to ISWCs, ensuring the master and publishing sides stay perfectly synced across every transaction.
Rights holders can view all their earnings, pending payouts, payment history, and income broken down by revenue source.
PROs and CMOs (like SOCAN, MLC, or ASCAP) get a dedicated view: distribution queues, failed payouts, and audit-ready period reports.
Every payment moves through clearly defined stages. All changes are recorded on the blockchain — creating a complete, permanent audit trail.
Built on Hyperledger Fabric, a permissioned enterprise blockchain. Only verified participants can interact with it — while everything they do is permanently recorded.
Puddingify admins, Performing Rights Organisations, and individual creators each see and do different things. Nobody can access data or functions above their clearance level.
Every participant is identified by their Membership Service Provider (MSP) ID — a cryptographic identity issued by the network. Anonymous submissions are rejected.
Once a royalty statement, payout, or computation is written to the blockchain, it cannot be altered or deleted. Every version is preserved forever.
The platform is pre-configured to work with established Performing Rights Organisations, giving them their own verified identity and dashboard access.
Puddingify leverages the immutable nature of Hyperledger Fabric to ensure every cent is accounted for. We provide the data trail; you get the peace of mind.
Every royalty calculation and payout is etched into the blockchain with a permanent timestamp and cryptographic proof. Our roadmap includes one-click CSV and PDF exports specifically formatted for Canadian and US tax filings, making monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting seamless for creators and labels alike.
